The invitation has arrived. Where do you start?
It's easiest to go step by step: first the dress, then the shoes, then the bag and jewellery. Once the dress is chosen, everything else takes just a few minutes.
Step 1: A dress for the time of day and the season
- Daytime ceremony, summer in the Bay of Kotor: light fabrics, light and pastel colours, midi length.
- Evening celebration: darker, richer colours, satin or lace, a longer dress.
- Autumn or winter wedding: longer sleeves or a blazer over the dress, in dark green, burgundy or navy.
The one rule that always applies: leave white and anything close to white to the bride. Browse our dresses and choose a cut you can sit, dance and spend the whole evening in.
Step 2: Shoes you can dance in until morning
A wedding lasts for hours, and you spend most of it on your feet. So choose a heel you would also wear on an ordinary day.
- Classic pumps go with almost any dress.
- Heeled sandals work best in summer and with longer dresses.
- Sandals with crystal details add sparkle to an evening look without much jewellery.
A tip that saves the evening: wear new shoes at home for two or three evenings before the wedding.
Step 3: Bag and jewellery
At a wedding you need a small bag: phone, lipstick, keys and room for an envelope. A bag in the colour of your shoes always looks harmonious. A contrasting bag, such as gold or red with a black dress, becomes the statement piece.
With jewellery, choose one statement piece: earrings or a necklace, not both at once. For cooler evenings on the coast, a scarf over the shoulders comes in handy.
Quick check before you leave
- The dress isn't white, and you can sit and dance in it
- The shoes are broken in
- The bag fits your phone and an envelope
- One statement piece of jewellery
- Something warm for the evening
